Seasol is a highly refined liquid seaweed plant conditioner. It has been used extensively in commercial horticulture since the late 1970s. Over that time it has been applied to a vast range of crops. The seaweed used in Seasol contains naturally occurring growth stimulants as well as the trace elements and minerals essential for plant health and vigour. Seasol stimulates root growth so it is often applied when planting and transplanting. It also stimulates flowering and fruiting and increases plant resistance to heat, drought, frost, pests and disease. Note: People often refer to Seasol as a seaweed fertiliser but technically it is a plant conditioner as it contains virtually no nitrogen or phosphorus… it can therefore be used on all plants, all year round.
